To Tatou Morearea By Jayda and Shanen

Here is Jayda and Shanen's animation. They wrote their story, created the animation then screen casted the story over top of it. Their motivation was Matariki and navigation. Have a look they have done a fantastic job.

  1. Kia ora Jayda and Shanen,
Ka Mau te Wehi! I am so impressed with your animation and the story you have created. You obviously worked really well as a team. I like the various backgrounds you have used and how you have thought really hard about matching your pictures with your words. Your storytelling is very clear. Well done. How many slides did you use to create your animation? What persistence you must have had! This is an inspirational animation that I will share with other learners throughout Aotearoa.

  6. Hi Jayda and Shanen, I love it when people animate stories. You are fabulous storytellers and have put so much detail into your animations to make sense of your story. I appreciate the way you recorded the voiceover to enrich the story.

    Well done

I am so impressed with how you used Google slide to animate your story. I really want to teach my year 5 class to do this. Can you give me any hints on what to do? Mrs Maritz Park Estate School

  9. Wow! This is awesome. I am going to teach my kids how to do this. If I can work out how. I am really impressed with both your technological skills and how well spoken the dialogue is in your video. The expression was cool too, it made me really interested in the story.
