Tania shared your animation at a recent workshop and I just had to comment! What a wonderful piece of animation. It's highly effective seeing your image super-imposed onto a 'real-life' background and really helps bring the story alive. Your language use is fantastic and you share with great pace and confidence. Feeding back the only thing I would look at doing would be to run it through WeVideo and increase your voice volume. You could even add a sound effect at the beginning, something free to use and share but to reflect the culture of the story. I found this... http://tereomaori.tki.org.nz/Reo-Maori-resources/Hei-Waiata (copy and paste to your omnibox). It has heaps of downloadable audio files that might work.

    Thanks for sharing your learning.

I love you animation!! I like that you have modernised the story of Matariki, by making your interpretation of the story.I like that you have used something basic like Google Slides to make something great. Did you know that in Japan they can only see six stars, they call it Subaru, and on the logo there are six stars, here in New Zealand we see Seven stars. If you want to see any of our blogs odselijahm.blogspot.co.nz and odsnavneets.blogspot.co.nz
If you do please leave a comment.
