Sun hats at school

Here is Alex's introduction for 'Should all children have to wear a sunhat at school?'. She worked really hard on this, using rhetorical questions and  research to back up her opinions.

Do you want to prevent yourself with skin cancer? Did you know each year 4000 people are diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer),which  up to 11 people per day being diagnosed. Over 300 New Zealanders die of  melanoma, although maori and pacific people have a low chance of getting affected by the cause.  I believe we need to make sun hats compulsory in Nz schools to help in the prevention of skin cancer. Firstly,we need hats to be compulsory as children get affected by it in the young stages of their life.  Secondly, if we make hats in school compulsory, more schools over the world may change their rule for hats to be compulsory. Finally,  no one wants to be diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer,as we all wanna last as long as we can and not worry that we have issues with our health. Make hats at school compulsory before our younger ones get burnt so bad that they  could have  speckles of cancer in our body.
