Tyissa's Giraffe Story

Long, lanky legs gracefully stroll down the winding corridors as they make there way to the pool. They line up silently. One of their teammates slowly comes down from the ceiling, ready to help them to make the perfect dive.

They run as fast as they can, tucking their legs in as they jump, landing in the water with no splash.  They slowly make their way back up the ramp waiting for their next turn.  They are ready and they notice another one of their teammates there to help them.

They all finish their turn so they slowly line up silently across the edge of the pool and dip in the pool to take a little sip of water.  Suddenly they hear a sound, a creaking door, and the giraffes sprint away knowing they can't be seen.

The other day we designed and built paper planes.  We had limited materials (6 pieces of A4 paper, 6 straws, bluetac and 2 paper clips) to use and had to come up with the best possible design to fly.  We then took them out into the playground to see which one would fly the furthest.  Kalos won the competition by designing a plane that flew 14 metres.

The Chrome books have arrived!!
