Today we had a problem solving afternoon. Our challenge was to use newspaper and 2metres of sellotape to construct a tower to hold a basketball. It had to be at least 30cm off the ground and be freestanding. The ball had to stay on for 10 seconds. Here is the winning team.
Hi Guys,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Maddie and I am a student of Selwyn House school in Christchurch. This looks like so much fun. The winning teams design looks very stable. Did you have a time limit when it has to be done by?
Well done!
Maddie

ReplyDeleteI'm Samuel from Our Lady of the Assumption School. That looks really cool to be doing a problem solving challenge with very little resources. Congrats to the winners
